The Rural Enterprise Fund is a capital grant scheme to support sole traders, micro and small businesses to develop new products and facilities in rural areas of Herefordshire. This includes farm businesses looking to diversify outside of agriculture.
Capital grants are up to 50% of total project costs with funding between £5k – £10k available for start ups, and £5k – £50k for existing businesses.
Applications are two stage; submission of an expression of interest form, then if eligible submission of the full application and supporting documentation.
Deadline for the first round of applications is 1 September 2023 at 12 midnight. A further round will be available in 2024.
